In the lengthwise direction, polyester monofilament is tightly twisted with low-stretch yarn. In the widthwise direction, mechanically covered yarn is used, with triacetate wrapping a highly elastic filament. This reduces slippage and splitting of the monofilament, resulting in a lightweight fabric with a crisp, structured drape. The highly elastic core remains well-concealed, making the fabric resistant to snagging and offering excellent color fastness. The fine twill weave provides a distinct crisp texture and a subtle crinkled effect, while the fabric surface shows the soft, understated luster characteristic of triacetate.
